The club is hardly what Erik is expecting. After the train ride (while not long, had taxed him somewhat), he's grateful to finally be at their destination. He pries his hat off, hanging it up when they wander in the door, his mouth slightly agape at his surroundings. Charles had explained it to him, of course, but seeing it is far different than a thought.

He glances over his shoulder to where Charles is entering, gesturing inwards. "Shall we get a drink? Or right to seeking our girl out?"

Well, that is true.

Erik concedes that perhaps he ought to simply embrace the fact that they're being honest to who they are (behind this closed door) and he comfortably takes his spot beside Charles on the bed. "Well, it's a nice enough arrangement," he remarks, glancing around the room. "Not bad, if you're looking for work."

"Yes, just enough class to give it an edge,"

The feel of the minds here is nice, most of them are relaxed within themselves.

Erik lifts the bucket of champagne easily enough to help pour them starter glasses, giving Charles a curious look. "And how exactly do you imagine we start this conversation?"

"Honestly and then provide proof, she'll either listen and stay or laugh and leave. Though I think she's someone who's proud of what she can do and the chance to do more will appeal to her."

Erik can't help his subdued laugh at the notion of their plan. It all seems odd and mad, but then, his whole life seems that these days, surrounded by people like him, but still so very distant. "Well, then, let's hope she wants to join our cause."

"You did and I happen to believe she will,"

He leans against Erik, because together they will create a future and he likes that they can be close without it mattering much here.

"I joined you because Shaw had friends," Erik reminds Charles with a pointed look in his direction. "A wise man told me that it would suit me well if I did, too."

"Yes and so we're finding them,"

The curtain opens as Angel enters with flair and gives them a pointed look, "Its extra for two."

Erik can't help his smile at the intrusion, thinking it's a rather timely point to come into the conversation. He turns on the charm as best as he can, offering to show her theirs if she shows them hers. He thinks it's as best as he can offer, lifting the bucket easily.

"More tea, vicar?" he offers to Charles.

"Don't mind if I do and I believe its my turn," He smirks at Angel as he projects an image of Erik looking attractive and a little strange in a blue minidress, red wig and boots.

Its an outfit inspired by Raven and when Angel cracks up, he nods and returns Erik to normal as he says, "You've never looked better, darling."

Erik turns a confused look on Charles, unable to participate in this little merriment as he has no idea what on earth they must be seeing. He raises his brow to ask without verbalizing, sending Charles the thought in his mind.

Charles shares an image of Erik as Angel briefly saw him along with the thought.

Different enough that she'd notice and shows off your wonderful legs.

Erik raises his brow even higher, even if such a thing does not seem entirely possible. I hardly think that shade of hair is flattering to me, he thinks in return though says nothing of the legs as he is rather proud of them.

Erik does have impressive eyebrows and Charles thinks, Next time, I'll choose something darker.

Angel looks between them and says as she unfurls her wings, "Now its my turn."

Erik sits forward, far more interested in the wings than their silly flirtations, now. His eyes scan her and his face lights up with the wonder born of such things, knowing that he will never tire of meeting new mutants with their beauty and their gifts.

Charles smiles as well, she's beautiful, "Amazing."

Angel flies up to show them all she can do.

He glances to Charles, an impressed look on his face as he wonders what capability they might have in the course of battle, but that falls short when it comes to admiring the sheer majesty of the things. Amazing, indeed.

Angel gives a bow to them before landing but keeping her wings open, "Now that we've shown, what do you really want?"

"For you to join us and other mutants in creating a better future," He says and briefly shares an image of Hank and Raven which gets a nod from Angel.

"That's a nice dream and seems like you might even get it done. And you want me to come along?"

"Better than wasting your talents here," Erik replies, his words heavy and hitting every beat he can think to. She might think that she has a decent life here, but there are still too many wandering eyes and it's a waste of her gifts. "You could be more, Angel," he says. "You could be with your own kind."

She gives them a long look eying up their sincerity and prospects, "I know I could be more and I aim to be and if its with you then what would it mean?"

Charles glances at Erik before saying, "Come to Washington with us, join other mutants and we'll build a future."

"You won't even have to take off your clothes," Erik says, given that a job where she can keep her clothes on seems to be something he knows he would rather do.

She nods since that is worth considering, "If I say yes, what happens. Is there a fancy black car to whisk us away?"

Charles smiles and shakes his head, "Not this time, train tickets back to Washington DC and a place to stay if you need it." He pulls the ticket from his pocket and shows it to her.

"No, I need to close up some things here, but I'll see you tomorrow. For now, bottle's yours and enjoy the club," This is an unexpected turn but one that could lead interesting places as a different sort of action happens in DC.

When she leaves, Erik turns to Charles and gives him a considering look. It's hardly the best result, but far from the worst. "She'll see us tomorrow," he says, but his attention quickly shifts to something else. "Of all the things you could do to show your powers to her. That? Really, Charles?"

"I was having fun and being relaxed. Raven tells me all the time that its good for me instead of being a terribly stuffy professor,"

He raises an eyebrow at Erik who didn't object that much to his choice.

"I find it curious that you like to imagine me dressed in women's clothing," Erik replies, his amusement lingering just below the surface. "Tell me. How detailed was it? Women's underwear, as well?"
